Anthony Colin Perrin sentenced to 2 years, 9 months for January 2025 knifepoint 7-Eleven robbery in Corrimal, stealing $230.
Anthony Colin Perrin was sentenced to two years and nine months in prison for a January 2025 knifepoint robbery at a Corrimal 7-Eleven, where he stole $230 from a store attendant during the victim’s first shift.
The attack occurred at 1:34 a.m. after Perrin entered the store, took a sushi pack, and threatened the worker with a 20-centimeter knife.
A witness called emergency services, leading police to find the knife in a nearby yard, where DNA evidence linked Perrin to the weapon and sushi pack.
At the time, Perrin was on parole and not taking medication for schizophrenia, which affected his judgment.
The court acknowledged his mental health and potential for rehabilitation but prioritized public safety, imposing a minimum sentence of one year and eight months.
He will be eligible for release in November 2026.
