An 18-year-old woman charged in connection with a terrorism-related attack attempt in Bristol.
An 18-year-old woman, Alina Burns, from Bristol, has been charged with terrorism-related offences after allegedly attempting to murder a 27-year-old man in Bedminster on August 2.
She faces multiple charges including preparing terrorist acts, attempted murder, and causing grievous bodily harm, along with three counts of possessing weapons without a valid reason, including an axe, scalpel, and darts.
The case, initially handled by Avon and Somerset Police, was transferred to Counter Terrorism Policing South West.
Burns appeared via video link at the Old Bailey, where she was remanded in custody, with her trial set for March 9 next year.
