Vandalism at a Trinidad school left documents damaged and doors forced open, police investigating.
Vandalism occurred at Carapichaima West Secondary School in Freeport, Trinidad and Tobago, on the night of September 24, during the Republic Day holiday.
An MTS security guard reported hearing noises near the school’s northern side around 11 p.m., then discovered 16 pages torn from an official desk diary, defaced with pen markings, and documents scattered.
Three garbage bins were overturned near administrative offices, and multiple classroom doors were forced open with broken latches.
No items were stolen.
Police from the Freeport station responded, are reviewing CCTV footage, and investigating the motive, with no arrests made.
