Tottenham's owners deny a £4.5B takeover bid, stating they’re not selling despite interest.
Tottenham Hotspur's owners, the Lewis family trust, have not received a formal takeover bid despite reports of a £4.5 billion offer from a U.S. consortium led by tech entrepreneur Brooklyn Earick.
The club, which holds an 87% stake through ENIC, maintains it is not for sale, and no official interest has been disclosed under the UK Takeover Code.
While the Lewis family is open to external investment to support new leadership, including head coach Thomas Frank and chairman Peter Charrington, they have no intention of selling.
The club recently appointed new leadership following Daniel Levy’s departure after 24 years.
Any potential deal would surpass Todd Boehly’s £4.25 billion purchase of Chelsea, but no proposal has been made.
