BMW is recalling about 196,000 U.S. vehicles, primarily 2019–2022 models including the 230i and some Toyota Supras, due to a potential fire risk from corroded starter relays that may overheat or short circuit. No injuries or fires have been reported. Affected owners will receive notifications starting November 14, with free repairs—replacement or modification of the starter assembly—available at BMW dealerships.
