NanoQT raised $14M to advance quantum interconnect tech for scalable quantum computing.
NanoQT, a Palo Alto-based quantum computing company, has closed a $14 million Series A round led by Phoenix Venture Partners, with support from Brevan Howard Macro Venture Fund and other investors.
The funds will advance its nanofiber-cavity quantum interconnect technology, designed to efficiently convert qubit signals into photonic signals using cavity quantum electrodynamics, addressing a key challenge in scaling quantum processors—particularly neutral-atom systems.
The company plans to demonstrate a distributed quantum computing system, productize its interconnects, and expand operations in College Park, Maryland, and Tokyo.
This follows over $20 million in prior government R&D grants from Japan and the U.S., and positions NanoQT to support scalable, modular quantum systems and future quantum networks.
