Hamilton County is set to approve the fourth phase of $250 million in school bond funding, with over $13 million allocated for facility upgrades including new turf fields at Central and Hixson high schools, stadium improvements at CSAS, and HVAC, paving, and security enhancements across multiple schools. Mayor Weston Wamp reported the projects are on schedule and under budget, with more than 1 million square feet of HVAC work completed over the summer. The investments aim to address deferred maintenance and improve student learning environments, marking significant progress in modernizing county schools.
