The initiative, running until Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary on October 2, has seen over 297,000 citizens in Ahmedabad help collect more than 1,877 metric tons of waste and clean thousands of roads and public areas.

Similar drives occurred across Gujarat, including at the Olpad Bus Depot, as part of the broader 'Seva Pakhwada' initiative honoring Modi’s 75th birthday.
The campaign, now in its 11th year, emphasizes civic responsibility, public health, and inclusion, uniting citizens, leaders, and sanitation workers in service-oriented efforts to promote hygiene and sustainable cleanliness nationwide.
