Issued on September 25, 2025, the statement emphasized that online activity creates a permanent digital footprint reviewed by universities, employers, and scholarship boards.
The CSA cautioned that such posts may violate Ghana’s Cybersecurity Act and Electronic Communications Act, risking legal consequences, cyberbullying, and exploitation.
It urged youth to use social media responsibly for creativity, networking, and personal growth, as part of its broader 'Safer Digital Ghana' campaign.
