Amazon launched 27 Kuiper satellites into orbit on Sept. 25, 2025, advancing its global broadband network.
A United Launch Alliance Vulcan Centaur rocket launched 27 Amazon Project Kuiper satellites into low Earth orbit on September 25, 2025, from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The mission, part of Amazon’s effort to build a global broadband network, aims to provide high-speed internet to underserved areas using a constellation of over 3,200 satellites.
The launch, conducted within a 29-minute window, marks the fifth batch of Kuiper satellites deployed under a major commercial agreement with ULA, which plans to support most of the network’s deployment using Atlas V and Vulcan rockets.
The satellites will begin testing and integration into the growing network, advancing Amazon’s push to offer commercial services in the near future.
