Air New Zealand names first Dream Seats winners helping Kiwis chase bold goals.
Air New Zealand has named the first recipients of its Dream Seats initiative, a program launched in July to support New Zealanders pursuing bold dreams.
Over 8,000 applications were received from individuals in sports, arts, entrepreneurship, and education.
More than 100 recipients will receive flights to help advance their goals, with select winners also getting mentorship from notable Kiwis like Dame Valerie Adams and Ryan Fox.
Among them are a para-athlete aiming to become the top disabled golfer, a sprinter targeting the World Under-20 Championships, a young musician set to perform at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, and a student preparing for a UN internship.
Air New Zealand CEO Greg Foran praised the applicants’ passion and emphasized the airline’s role in helping Kiwis achieve their potential.
The program remains open, with more winners expected to be announced.
