The Asian Development Bank has approved a $75 million loan and $2 million grant for Turkmenistan’s first health sector project, focused on improving nursing and midwifery quality and workforce capacity.
The project will fund a new climate-resilient facility with modern features including mother-friendly rooms, staff dormitories, and an edible garden to support nutrition.
