On September 16, 2025, Wuliangye, a Chinese baijiu brand with roots dating to 1915, celebrated its theme day at Expo 2025 Osaka, showcasing its heritage, awards, and premium products across eight generations.
The event included a commemorative gift box presented to the China Pavilion for permanent display.
As part of its global expansion, Wuliangye launched its second authorized overseas restaurant in Osaka, following a similar opening in Tokyo, promoting baijiu through themed dining experiences and locally adapted offerings like low-alcohol versions and cocktails.
The brand has also entered markets including Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Singapore, using platforms like the World Expo and partnerships with the Michelin Guide to strengthen cultural and commercial ties abroad.
