Reliance will invest ₹1,156 crore in Tamil Nadu to build a large food manufacturing plant, creating 2,000 jobs.
Reliance Consumer Products will invest ₹1,156 crore to build an integrated manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu’s Allikulam Industrial Park, producing snacks, biscuits, spices, and edible oils.
The 60-acre project, announced by State Industries Minister TRB Rajaa, aims to create 2,000 jobs over five years.
It supports Tamil Nadu’s industrial expansion, particularly in southern districts, and follows the August 2025 TN Rising Investment Conclave, which secured 41 MoUs worth ₹32,553 crore and up to 50,000 jobs across sectors like electronics, defense, and renewable energy.
The move underscores the state’s growing appeal as a manufacturing hub under Chief Minister M K Stalin’s leadership.
