Indian states raised ₹25,000 crore in a Reserve Bank of India auction on September 23, with cut-off yields between 7.26% and 7.45%.
The total notified amount was ₹27,000 crore, but only ₹25,000 crore was allotted.
Telangana was the top borrower, raising ₹5,000 crore at 7.44%, followed by Bihar with ₹4,000 crore at 7.45%.
Other states including Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and West Bengal participated, with yields generally near 7.4%.
Chhattisgarh reissued a bond at 6.67%, while some states declined bids for certain re-issues.
Overall, weighted average yields remained close to 7.4%.
