Fourteen-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi made history in Youth ODI cricket by breaking the record for most sixes, hitting 41 in just 10 innings during India U-19’s match against Australia U-19 in Brisbane.
The left-handed batter, who scored 70 off 68 balls with six sixes, surpassed Unmukt Chand’s previous mark of 38 set over 21 matches.
Suryavanshi also became the youngest centurion in competitive cricket history and the youngest player to appear in the IPL, where he scored a 35-ball century.
His aggressive style, including a 52-ball hundred in a Youth ODI, helped India post 301 for 6.
He finished as top run-scorer in a five-match series against England U-19 and earned the Super Striker of the Season award in IPL 2025.
