Five Indian soldiers injured in a non-life-threatening road accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.
Five Indian Army personnel were injured in a road accident on Wednesday morning in the Ghani area of Mankote sector, Poonch district, Jammu and Kashmir, around 7:15 a.m.
The soldiers, posted at Balnoi Nangi Takeri and traveling on leave from Dhara Dullian to Jammu, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries after their vehicle skidded off the road.
A replacement vehicle was arranged to continue their journey.
Local police have taken cognizance of the incident and are investigating.
The area, near the Line of Control, remains a high-security zone with ongoing military operations against infiltration and cross-border activities.
