Delhi court to rule Oct. 13, 2025, on corruption charges against Lalu Prasad Yadav and 13 others over alleged hotel contract favors.
A Delhi court will decide on October 13, 2025, whether to frame charges in a corruption case involving former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and 13 others, including his wife and son.
The case centers on allegations that during his 2004–2009 tenure, contracts for two IRCTC hotels were improperly awarded to Sujata Hotels, owned by Vijay and Vinay Kochar, in exchange for a prime land plot given through a benami company.
The CBI claims the process was corrupt, while the accused deny wrongdoing.
All defendants are ordered to appear in person for the court’s ruling.
