An 8-year-old boy in Billingham died between Sept. 13–15; his mother has been charged with murder.

The family of eight-year-old Rhys Cameron, who died at a Billingham home between September 13 and 15, honored him as a joyful, cheerful boy who loved music, playing with friends, and even toothbrushes. They described him as a beloved son, brother, nephew, and grandson, expressing deep grief and finding comfort in community support. Cleveland Police confirmed Louise Cameron, 40, of Marsh House Close, has been charged with murder and is set to appear at Teesside Crown Court on November 6. The case remains under investigation, and an inquest was adjourned to allow legal proceedings to advance.
