A 31-year-old Winnipeg woman has been charged with 19 counts of theft after allegedly stealing nearly $10,000 in merchandise from multiple stores across the city between January and September 2025.
The thefts, which occurred at various locations along major streets including Portage Avenue, Kenaston Boulevard, and St. Mary’s Road, involved dozens of incidents ranging from under $50 to over $1,200 each.
She was arrested on September 18 at her residence without incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Police are urging the public to report any relevant information to the Property Crime Unit or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
