U.S. backs Côte d'Ivoire’s digital shift with $20M AI security deal and $100M+ in financing.

Visium Technologies is deploying its TruContext™ AI cybersecurity platform under a $20 million contract to secure a new data center and government infrastructure in Côte d'Ivoire, part of a U.S. Export-Import Bank initiative that unveiled over $100 million in financing guarantees during the UN General Assembly. The funding, from EXIM’s China and Transformational Exports Program, supports digital transformation in Africa, including $66 million for the national data center and $47 million for exporting U.S. technology to modernize government services. The project, involving partners like Cisco, Citi, and Cybastion Institute of Technology, aims to strengthen digital sovereignty, improve public services, and expand U.S. technology leadership in Africa’s growing digital economy.
