Two men convicted in the 2019 stabbing death of Tony Ferns in Scotland have appealed, while two others were sentenced but did not appeal.
Two men, Raymond Platt and Joseph McCulloch, convicted in the 2019 premeditated stabbing death of Tony Ferns in Thornliebank, Scotland, have appealed their convictions, with the Court of Appeal in Edinburgh confirming the appeals but setting no hearing dates.
Ferns, 33, was fatally stabbed in his car near his mother’s home after a long-standing feud with drug trafficker Robert Park, 69, who was also convicted and given a minimum 20-year sentence.
Craig Colquhoun, 39, received a similar sentence.
Prosecutors said Platt carried out the stabbing, McCulloch tracked Ferns, and Colquhoun acted as a getaway driver.
No appeals have been filed by Park or Colquhoun.
