Two men arrested in New Zealand for 1.5 kg of meth seized near Motueka ferry terminal.
Tasman Police arrested two men, 66 and 69, after seizing 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine from a rental car near a Motueka ferry terminal on 22 September 2025.
The drugs were discovered during a search warrant execution around 11:50 a.m. and are believed to have been intended for local distribution.
Both men face charges for possession of methamphetamine for supply and are due in Blenheim District Court the following day.
Police emphasized the harm methamphetamine causes and reaffirmed their commitment to removing drugs from the region.
