Glenn Gary Cameron, 61, admitted to 18 sexual assaults and one attempted assault against eight women in Sydney between 1991 and 1993, crimes that terrorized the city for decades. Arrested in February 2024 at Sydney International Airport, he was identified through modern DNA and fingerprint analysis. Cameron pleaded guilty to 13 charges, including multiple rapes and indecent assaults, with one victim reporting five attacks in 30 minutes. He admitted to using knives to threaten and detain victims. Prosecutors dropped nine charges, including those involving violence and robbery. Suppression orders preventing public identification were lifted in May 2025.
