ON Semiconductor acquires Aura’s AI power tech to boost data center efficiency, with deal closing in Q4 2025.
ON Semiconductor has agreed to acquire Aura Semiconductor’s Vcore power technologies and intellectual property to boost its AI data center power management capabilities, aiming to improve efficiency, power density, and thermal performance.
The deal, expected to close in Q4 2025, is not expected to impact near-term earnings but should be accretive later, pending regulatory approval.
