A Pennsylvania woman extradited from Belize faces over 100 animal cruelty charges after fleeing during an investigation into horrific conditions at her farm.
Abigail Tuttle O’Keeffe, 54, a former Bucks County farm owner, has been returned to the U.S. from Belize after being arrested on firearm charges and extradited to face over 100 animal cruelty counts. She fled in August 2024 during an investigation into conditions at her Narrow Way Farm, where more than 100 animals were found suffering from malnutrition, disease, and neglect, with several dead. Authorities described the case as the largest farm animal cruelty case in Bucks County history. After her firearm case in Belize concluded on September 18, 2025, she was transferred to U.S. Marshals custody and is now awaiting a preliminary hearing on October 2, 2025. Most animals were placed in new homes, but two pigs and two goats remain unadopted. The case involved cooperation between federal and international agencies.
