New Zealand police have arrested a 34-year-old man in Long Bay on 41 fraud charges tied to a nearly year-long investigation involving over $68,000 in credit card fraud across the country.
The suspect, one of three individuals initially identified, has been denied bail and is set to appear in North Shore District Court.
Two others, a man and a woman, were previously charged.
Authorities say the frauds occurred during 2024 and 2025.
Acting Inspector Tim Williams stressed the seriousness of fraud and urged victims to contact their banks immediately and report incidents via 105.police.govt.nz or by calling 105 to aid recovery and enforcement efforts.
