Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the upcoming launch of Vande Bharat Sleeper trains, with the first unit tested in Delhi and the second expected by October 15, 2025.
Both trains will debut together to ensure continuous service, offering overnight travel with modern amenities and multiple sleeper classes.
A New Delhi–Patna route is a likely initial option, possibly timed with Bihar’s elections.
