Hindu College honored top alumni in law, public service, and cinema, with plans for a campus restoration and memorial museum.
The Old Students Association of Hindu College in New Delhi honored distinguished alumni on September 23, 2025, during its 20th Distinguished Alumni Awards ceremony. Chief Guest Justice Manmohan of the Supreme Court of India presided over the event, recognizing alumni for excellence in law, public service, cinema, judiciary, civil service, and foreign affairs. Special awards were presented to Rajiv Nayar for lifetime achievement, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri for public service, and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for contributions to cinema and OTT. Other honorees included several individuals recognized for leadership in various fields. OSA President Ravi Burman highlighted the college’s 126-year legacy and the importance of alumni mentorship, announcing a restoration project for the historic Old Hindu College Campus Building at Kashmere Gate, with plans to create a memorial museum, now underway with heritage architects.
