Free filmmaking workshops in west Wales help farmers share stories on food security, climate change, and resilience.
Researchers from Aberystwyth University, Cardiff University, and the Centre for Alternative Technology are hosting free storytelling and filmmaking workshops in west Wales for farmers and those with farming backgrounds.
Led by Bethan John, the events in Bancyfelin and Crymych on October 1st and 2nd aim to explore food security, economic uncertainty, community resilience, and the climate crisis through personal stories.
No experience is needed, and sessions will be bilingual and small-group based.
Participants will learn filmmaking skills and co-create community films.
The project, funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, values rural knowledge and creative expression.
