Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing Chinese agriculture, turning traditional farming into a data-driven industry. In Henan and other provinces, farmers use AI-powered systems for precise irrigation, fertilization, and crop monitoring, boosting yields and soil health. These technologies, part of a national AI action plan, are expanding across over 2.29 billion mu of farmland, with more than 1 billion mu designated as high-standard. Technology contributes 63.2% to grain harvest growth. Over 2 million cooperatives and 4 million family farms, supported by IoT systems and local initiatives, drive this transformation. Innovations in smart machinery, breeding, and real-time monitoring are enhancing efficiency and sustainability.
