In September 2025, several Indian state dairy cooperatives reduced prices on milk, ghee, paneer, and related products following a central GST reduction on over 375 items. Odisha’s OMFED, Kerala’s Milma, and Karnataka’s KMF cut prices to pass tax savings to consumers, with ghee, paneer, and milk seeing notable drops.
