Directed by and starring Rishab Shetty, the film explores the origins of the legend, set in a rural, myth-rich setting, with themes of faith, resistance, and divine intervention. It features a large-scale war sequence filmed over 45–50 days on a 25-acre terrain involving over 500 fighters and 3,000 people.
