A gunman killed one at a New Hampshire wedding, wounded two, and injured four others before being arrested.
A shooting at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, during a wedding on Saturday night left one person dead—Robert Steven DeCesare, 59—and two others wounded, with at least four others sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, 23-year-old former employee Hunter Nadeau, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
Authorities confirmed only one shooter, despite initial concerns of multiple gunmen, and said Nadeau made statements including “Free Palestine,” though no hate-based motive has been confirmed.
Witnesses reported a patron striking Nadeau with a chair, an act credited with stopping the attack and saving lives.
The victim’s widow said she is coping while focusing on their children.
Additional charges are expected, and Nadeau is set to be arraigned.
About 100 people were evacuated and treated at a nearby firehouse.
