Denver-based Direct Travel has acquired its long-term partner ATPI, forming a global travel management company managing over $6 billion in annual travel volume.
The merger, rooted in a partnership since 2017, combines Direct Travel’s U.S. strength with ATPI’s European and specialized expertise in energy, marine, sports, and group travel.
The combined entity will operate in over 90 countries, retain ATPI’s brand and leadership, and accelerate the rollout of Direct Travel’s Avenir Travel Edition platform powered by Spotnana technology.
ATPI’s tech spin-off, TripStax, will remain independent.
