Accenture acquires France’s Orlade Group to boost its project management in energy, rail, and defense.
Accenture plans to acquire Orlade Group, a French advisory and project management firm, to enhance its capabilities in managing large-scale capital projects across energy, utilities, rail, aerospace, and defense.
The deal brings about 200 professionals from Paris, Bordeaux, Montréal, and Brisbane into Accenture’s infrastructure and capital projects practice.
Orlade’s expertise in project lifecycle management, lead time reduction, and predictive modeling will combine with Accenture’s digital and generative AI tools to address challenges like delays, budget overruns, supply chain issues, and cybersecurity risks.
Only 6% of projects are completed on time or under budget, according to Accenture.
The acquisition follows recent deals in Europe and North America and is subject to customary closing conditions, with terms undisclosed.
