flag A 1-year-old boy died in a Minnesota crash; the driver, drunk, lost control, rolled into a pond.

A one-year-old boy, Revon Melvin Anthony Todd of St. Paul, died in an alcohol-involved single-vehicle crash at the Hwy. 36 and Hwy. 61 interchange in Maplewood, Minnesota, on September 20, 2025, just before 6:30 p.m. The SUV, driven by 28-year-old Rachale Francine Peloquin of St. Paul, lost control while exiting eastbound Hwy. 36 onto southbound Hwy. 61, rolled over, and landed upside down in a pond with 1–2 feet of water. The infant was found underneath the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Peloquin, who had alcohol in her system, was arrested and booked into Ramsey County Jail. Four other occupants, including two children and an adult, were taken to Regions Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The infant was the only occupant confirmed to have been buckled up.
