Samuel Amoah, known as "Biggie," has been arrested in Suhum after a year-long manhunt for the May 19, 2024, killings of Alberta Hagan, 39, and her two children at a Kasoa home.
Police found Hagan and two children dead from head injuries, while a third child survived with serious wounds and a five-month-old baby was unharmed.
Investigators identified Amoah, Hagan’s former partner, as the main suspect, citing a strained relationship over financial disputes.
He fled after the attack and was captured on September 17, 2025.
During interrogation, he confessed and expressed remorse.
He is now in custody, cooperating with authorities, and will face multiple murder charges.
The CID Director-General, COP Lydia Yaako Donkor, confirmed the case is being handled urgently, with justice as the priority.
