Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed that lasting peace between Pakistan and India requires resolving the Kashmir dispute, calling for equal, respectful dialogue and condemning past conflicts that diverted billions from development. Speaking to overseas Pakistanis in London, he highlighted Pakistan’s peaceful nuclear progress, diaspora contributions totaling $48.5 billion in remittances, and strong support for Palestine amid the Gaza crisis. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to diplomacy, peacekeeping, and global stability, while condemning violence and advocating for justice, human rights, and UN-led solutions.
