Pakistani forces abducted two Sindhi activists in a pre-dawn raid, sparking international concern over enforced disappearances.
The Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM) accused Pakistani intelligence agencies of abducting two Sindhi activists, Saeed and Dilbar Tweeno, during a pre-dawn raid on their home in Sindh on September 21, 2025.
According to JSFM chairman Sohail Abro, security forces harassed the family, vandalized the residence, seized personal belongings including mobile phones, and took both men into custody around 3:00 AM.
The group labeled the incident part of a broader pattern of enforced disappearances targeting political and nationalist activists, accusing state forces of suppressing dissent through intimidation and violence.
JSFM called on the United Nations, human rights organizations, and global media to intervene, warning that silence enables further abuses and that the lives of the missing activists are in grave danger.
The case underscores long-standing concerns about human rights violations in Sindh and Balochistan, where nationalist movements face state repression.
Las fuerzas paquistaníes secuestraron a dos activistas Sindhi en una redada antes del amanecer, lo que provocó preocupación internacional por las desapariciones forzadas.
