On September 21, 2025, President John Dramani Mahama left Accra for the 80th UN General Assembly in New York, where he will address the session on September 25. His schedule includes AU-related financial meetings, bilateral talks with global leaders, and ringing the NASDAQ closing bell. First Lady Lordina Mahama will attend a World Vision prayer service and events with African first ladies. The delegation, composed of senior ministers, returns on September 30.
