Sindh Inspector General Ghulam Nabi Memon has launched an investigation into four deputy superintendents of police—Aurangzeb Khattak, Asif Munir, Shabbir Ahmed, and Zafar Iqbal—over allegations of misconduct including land grabbing, smuggling, extortion, and ties to illegal parking networks.
Deputy Inspector General Tanveer Alam Odho has been appointed to lead the inquiry, with a report due by September 26.
