NNPP’s Kwankwaso says party will rejoin APC only with real benefits and guarantees.

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), said his party is open to rejoining the APC only if offered clear, tangible benefits and fair treatment. Speaking in Kano, he highlighted the NNPP’s foundational role in the APC’s 2013 creation and recalled past political persecution, noting no recognition or rewards during eight years of APC rule. He stressed the NNPP’s strong structures and gubernatorial candidates nationwide, warning against being used and discarded again. While open to negotiations, Kwankwaso insisted on binding commitments to protect the party’s integrity and interests.
