A Florida man crashed his car, threatened residents with a gun, was arrested at home with 14 firearms, and was taken for mental health evaluation.
A 27-year-old man, Keanu Kristopher Montaque, crashed his car into a home in Riviera Beach, Florida, and allegedly threatened residents and police with a firearm, saying he intended to "kill everyone and himself."
Officers located and arrested him at his home, where they recovered 14 guns and ammunition, which were secured pending a Risk Protection Order.
Montaque was Baker Acted—taken into involuntary psychiatric custody—and transported to HCA Florida JFK North Hospital for a mental health evaluation.
No formal charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
