The Delhi High Court has summoned seven student leaders, including newly elected DUSU officials, over a victory procession held despite a court-issued stay. The court had banned all victory processions on campus and across Delhi following the DUSU elections, warning that violations could lead to contempt charges. Advocate Prashant Manchanda submitted video and photo evidence of the event, prompting the court’s action. The Delhi police have issued challans to participants, and the court warned that continued defiance may render the elected offices ineligible.
