A 23-year-old man from Windradyne, Gustav Clancy Morton, was convicted at Bathurst Local Court on August 27, 2025, after admitting to driving with a suspended license.
He was caught speeding at 104 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Eleven Mile Drive in Eglinton on July 28, 2025.
Morton told police he had left his license at home and acknowledged his license was suspended due to demerit points.
Although he had started an appeal, he did not complete the required paperwork.
Magistrate Gemma Slack-Smith fined him $700 and imposed a three-month driving ban.
