Two people died in a Nevada crash after a unsafe lane change caused a head-on collision.
On September 11, two people died in a crash on Pyramid Highway near Disc Drive in Sparks, Nevada, after a northbound vehicle made an unsafe lane change, striking another vehicle and spinning into oncoming traffic where it collided head-on with a third vehicle.
Jared Vega, 26, and Caryn Stockton, 56, both of Sparks, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle was detained for questioning but has not been charged.
The Nevada Highway Patrol’s Major Incident Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
