Nigerian forces seized 700 bags of bomb-making fertilizer and other supplies meant for terrorists in Yobe State on Sept. 16.
Nigerian military forces intercepted a major supply shipment intended for terrorist groups in Yobe State, including 700 bags of fertilizer used in making bombs, drugs, medical supplies, and materials for making uniforms.
The haul was discovered on September 16 along the Nguru–Gashua road during Operation Desert Sanity IV, with intelligence indicating the goods were bound for Niger Republic.
Additional vehicles carrying fabric and solar panels were also seized.
The military credited the operation to timely intelligence and urged the public to continue reporting suspicious activities, reaffirming its commitment to dismantling terrorist supply networks in the region.
