MESS, Melbourne’s electronic music museum with 1,000+ rare instruments, has moved to Fed Square’s The Atrium.
The Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio (MESS), housing the largest publicly available collection of electronic instruments in the southern hemisphere, has relocated to Fed Square’s The Atrium in Melbourne.
The museum, which opened in 2016, features over 1,000 rare and historically significant instruments, including the EMS Synthi AKS and Akai S950 sampler.
MESS offers workshops, courses, artist residencies, public events, and booking opportunities for visitors to compose music.
It is open for bookings and public access in the afternoons and evenings from Wednesday to Sunday.
