Honor Flight celebrates 20 years by flying veterans to Washington D.C. memorials at no cost.
Honor Flight, marking its 20th anniversary, continues to honor veterans who served between 1941 and 1975 by flying them to Washington D.C. to visit memorials at no cost.
Recent missions included flights from Central Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, transporting veterans and guardians to see monuments, with emotional moments at the Korean and Vietnam War Memorials and recognition at the Women in Military Memorial.
The program has now flown over 300,000 veterans, with thousands more expected on upcoming trips, including one planned for October and another in April.
